The SABRE-300 takes harmful wood dust protection to the next level, with the combination of side and rear dust extraction ports. The rear dust port features a CamVac bayonet fitting, allowing direct connectivity with the Record Power range of CamVac high-filtration dust extractors. The side dust port seamlessly pairs with the Record Power 2.5" flexible hose, streamlining the dust extraction setup. A removable dust cap situated within the lower cabinet over the blade, further reduces airflow leakage, increasing extraction efficiency. -

This Planer Thicknesser is perfectly suited to the discerning woodworker who expects professional, reliable performance from a solid and durable machine but doesn’t have the space or budget for a larger industrial machine. Heavy duty cast iron tables give this machine a degree of accuracy not found elsewhere on machines of this capacity or price bracket - infeed table is easily and accurately adjusted using the robust lever and clear depth scale. In addition, the PT107 also boasts an outfeed table adjustment facility, meaning truly exact calibration can be achieved to ensure superior accuracy when planing. For easy, rapid conversion to thicknessing mode, the hood is a large, steel one-piece swinging design. The thicknessing table is supported by a substantial central column, giving plenty of support to even the heaviest workpieces. To aid the thicknessing of particularly difficult stock, a clutch is provided on the thicknessing feed to allow removal of stock if jamming occurs. This also means that the thicknesser can be disengaged when not in use to save wear and tear on internal parts.

The Record Power RSBG8 Bench Grinder has a long-established reputation for robustness and reliability, making it the perfect choice for the home workshop. This new and upgraded machine has an industrial-inspired design with a heavy-duty motor and offers improved power, stability and performance. It features fully adjustable tool rests with solid locking mechanisms to give optimum support. The cast iron base and sturdy body reduce vibration to give the smooth operation that is essential for successful and accurate sharpening. Rubber feet also dampen vibration whilst ensuring the grinder does not move during use. The wide body of the machine further increases stability and minimises the load on the bearings for increased life. The 40 mm white stone is ideal for giving a fine finish, particularly to HSS turning tools, while the more coarse grey stone is perfect for rougher grinding and shaping. The BS300E is a great all rounder perfectly specified for the medium sized workshop where a range of duties will be required.Featuring a solid fence, vital for accurate ripping, which has a heavy extrusion mounted on a cast iron base and fixed to a solid steel bar for maximum rigidity and support. This is based on an industrial Startrite design and much more solid than other fences at this level. The machine also features a solid double trunnion fence mount to provide rigid table support and one-handed table tilt on a smooth rack and pinion. Adding to the structural integrity of the BS300E are the cast iron bandwheels which are fitted with precision ground rubber tyres to provide a flywheel effect for smooth cutting. A solid blade tension indicator is fitted to the rear of the machine to allow for easy setup. The BS300E is also supplied with a basic wheel kit as standard. -

An ideal workhorse for the busy workshop where power and generous capacity are required but budget and space do not allow a bigger machine. This features an open legstand, often requested by our users as it provides greater stability and can be used with an optional pedal style wheelkit. A basic wheelkit is provided as standard. The bandwheels are cast iron and dynamically balanced with precision ground, crowned rubber tyres usually only found on much more expensive industrial machines – the flywheel effect of the cast iron wheels improves cutting performance and speeds. Our tables are some of the largest in their category and a one piece cast double trunnion has been designed to provide even greater support and rigidity. The rip fence is the strongest and most industrial in its category with a chromed fence and the mount machined from a single piece of cast iron. The extrusion itself is a heavy section to provide rigidity and accuracy. -

The DML305 cast iron lathe represents a new benchmark in high quality midi lathes and is perfect for the user with minimal space or as a second lathe for demonstrations and shows. The bed is made from finely ground cast iron for weight and rigidity and fitted with cam locking tool rests that clamp easily and solidly to the bed with one handed operation. The machine has 393 mm between centres as standard and an optional bed extension can be added to increase this capacity.
The swing over the bed is 305 mm and the motor is 1/2 hp, providing plenty of power for the capacities of these machines. The spindle has an M33 thread to ensure a wide range of Record Power accessories can be fitted.
This lathe is extremely well finished with polished metal handles, spindle locks with indexing and graduated markings on the tailstock barrels. Many of these features are normally only found on expensive professional lathes.

An industrial style cast trunnion supports the table and allows it to be tilted one-handed on a rack and pinion. Laguna 18|36 REVO Lathe is designed for the user. Strength, stability and control are at the heart throughout to satisfy true specialists and woodturning professionals. One of the striking features of the lathe is an ergonomic panel with controls mounted in an anodized aluminium plate. The speed is smoothly controlled with a tactile rubber augmented knurled aluminium dial. Add the blue hue of the speed indicator and this machine stands out from the competition. The solid bed, with an impressive width of 208mm, is made of high-quality steel ASTM A36 (tougher than cast iron), and is precisely ground providing smooth travel of the headstock, tailstock and toolrest. The spindle is run by a highly efficient induction motor with a VFD frequency convertor for high torque even at lower speeds. The speed range can be changed with a clever one-lever mechanism. The headstock, tailstock and legs of the lathe are made from cast-iron securing minimum vibration and high comfort for turning of oversized pieces. Tailstock and Headstock cam lock levers are placed on the back of the machine and will not get in the way. All cam lock levers have soft grip handles and a long length resulting in a firm feel with no deflection. Innovation has been key to the progress of the Laguna brand and it is fully embraced here in the REVO 12/16 Midi Lathe. To overcome the issues of a traditional DC motor (Low torque at low speed and inability to achieve very low speeds) the controller uses the revolutionary Pulse Width Modulation system which feeds a succession of voltage pulses to the motor, monitoring the speed and automatically making adjustments to keep the speed constant. The result is a fantastic level of torque even at the incredibly low speed of 50rpm. The controls are mounted in an anodized aluminium plate, the ergonomic design is well positioned with a clear digital speed read out and easy access to all controls. The variable speed is smoothly controlled with a tactile rubber augmented knurled aluminium dial - A joy to use. The midi sized lathe continues to be Charnwoods' best seller. It is a size which can accomplish most of the projects turners are likely to try and is the largest lathe which can comfortably be moved off the bench when not in use. We have developed ours further this year to now include an indexing system on the headstock spindle as well as more robust electronics, specifically designed for UK voltage. The bed of the lathe is one-piece precision ground cast iron giving 14" between centres when working with our new heavy duty centres, which are supplied as standard. The bowl turning capacity of 12" diameter over the bed, requires a very low speed which is achieved using a converter and a DC motor. A clear LCD display shows the current RPM. The tool rest banjo is a cam-lock design for rapid adjustments with all metal components. The tool rest itself is our ever popular round bar made from hardened steel The headstock is hollow centred to allow for easy tool removal, the tailstock is also hollow and has automatic centre removal. Supplied with drive and tail centres 2MT, knockout bar, 6" toolrest with 5/8" shank, 3" diameter faceplate, tool holder, carrying handles and cable tidy. N.B. The distance between centres will vary and be dependent on the type of centres or accessories used. Maximum distance is 450mm (18"). -
