Beginners Woodturning Course

Course Outline

This is an introductory level course aimed at those wishing to take up woodturning as a pastime.

This is a two day course.

Courses run from 10am to 4.30pm with tea/coffee breaks and lunch. The course is restricted to four students each working individually on the lathe which maximises hands on experience and teaching attention/guidance tailored to each students’ needs.

The workroom is equipped with four lathes to ensure that each student gets the fullest possible benefit from the course.

The course is held in a fully insured workshop under the guidance of an experienced wood turner.

Each student will have the use of a lathe, tools, sharpening system, finishes etc.

All equipment will be sanitised before each course.
