  • This brand new lathe from Record Power represents the culmination of many decades of expertise in the manufacture and supply of superior woodturning lathes. Developed with the help of professional woodturners and keen hobbyists, Record believe they have produced a world-class machine for woodturners of all levels. Thanks to a number of innovative design solutions the capabilities, features and performance of the Herald far exceed anything a machine of this size has been capable of before - It brings top-end professional performance at a fraction of the size and cost of comparable heavy-duty machines.
To reflect the Record Power heritage in a modern context, the look of the lathe incorporates the elegant and balanced curves of the earlier Coronet series in a more streamlined and efficient form. As well as looking great, the Herald feels great - the excellence of engineering, ergonomics and quality manufacturing can be felt throughout, making the lathe a pleasure to use whilst delivering rock solid performance.

  • Part of the exclusive range of Coronet lathes from Record Power, the Envoy is perfect for the woodturner who regularly needs the power, stability and capacities necessary for large scale work. Designed as a natural progression from the Coronet Herald, it is supported by large and heavy integral cast iron legs to give ample protection from vibration while turning out of balance timbers.
The overall heavy-duty construction of the machine, along with the finely engineered and machined components make this lathe a pleasure to use.

  • Regent Variable Speed Lathe is the largest lathe in the exclusive range of Coronet lathes from Record Power and is ideal for the woodturner who regularly needs the power, stability and capacities necessary for very large scale work. It is supported by large and heavy integral cast iron legs to give ample protection from vibration while turning out of balance timbers. The overall heavy-duty construction of the machine, along with the finely engineered and machined components make this lathe a pleasure to use.

  • The DS300 is a superbly built and heavy duty disc sander; a real workhorse that will provide years of reliable service in the workshop. Featuring a cast iron body, disc and table, this machine is more than capable of withstanding heavy sanding tasks. The powerful motor provides plenty of power and torque to easily handle large sections of timber and the dynamically balanced disc ensures smooth operation. This machine is in a different league to other disc sanders. When seen in action, the build quality and performance speak for themselves.
  • The Record Power RSBG8 Bench Grinder has a long-established reputation for robustness and reliability, making it the perfect choice for the home workshop. This new and upgraded machine has an industrial-inspired design with a heavy-duty motor and offers improved power, stability and performance. It features fully adjustable tool rests with solid locking mechanisms to give optimum support. The cast iron base and sturdy body reduce vibration to give the smooth operation that is essential for successful and accurate sharpening. Rubber feet also dampen vibration whilst ensuring the grinder does not move during use. The wide body of the machine further increases stability and minimises the load on the bearings for increased life. The 40 mm white stone is ideal for giving a fine finish, particularly to HSS turning tools, while the more coarse grey stone is perfect for rougher grinding and shaping. In addition, the spark guard of the white wheel features a magnifying lens to aid fine sharpening. The build quality and reliability of this grinder is significantly higher than some of the more common and cheaper machines which generally have lower powered motors and are substantially lighter. Record Power grinders are designed to give many years of service and replacement stones are readily available should the original ones become worn out, a sure sign of the robustness of these machines.

This Planer Thicknesser is perfectly suited to the discerning woodworker who expects professional, reliable performance from a solid and durable machine but doesn’t have the space or budget for a larger industrial machine. Heavy duty cast iron tables give this machine a degree of accuracy not found elsewhere on machines of this capacity or price bracket - infeed table is easily and accurately adjusted using the robust lever and clear depth scale. In addition, the PT107 also boasts an outfeed table adjustment facility, meaning truly exact calibration can be achieved to ensure superior accuracy when planing. For easy, rapid conversion to thicknessing mode, the hood is a large, steel one-piece swinging design. The thicknessing table is supported by a substantial central column, giving plenty of support to even the heaviest workpieces. To aid the thicknessing of particularly difficult stock, a clutch is provided on the thicknessing feed to allow removal of stock if jamming occurs. This also means that the thicknesser can be disengaged when not in use to save wear and tear on internal parts.
  • A compact and portable planer thicknesser.
    • 8'' Planing Capacity
    • 8'' x 5'' Thicknessing Capacity
    • Aluminium Tables To Minimise Weight
    • Extruded Guide Fence For Accuracy
    • Tilting Fence With Twin Guides
    • Rubber Coated Feed Rollers
    • 100mm Diameter Chip Extraction Outlet
Light enough to move off the bench when not in use and yet tough enough to produce 8" x 5" timber into flat and dimensioned pieces. The planing beds are precision ground aluminium and the guide fence is a rigid aluminium extrusion which can be tilted and locked at any angle up to 45 degrees when required. The steel thicknessing bed has an extension arm on the outfeed side and is supported in each corner by chain driven adjusting screws. Once the height is set, rubber coated feed rollers pass the timber through the high speed cutter block leaving a beautiful finish with no roller marks. The redesigned dust hood now has a quick action clamp to allow faster removal when changing between Planing and thicknessing modes. The hood fits onto the thicknessing bed during planing operations and is then moved over the top when thicknessing. As a safety feature a location sensor detects that the dust hood has been correctly fitted before allowing the motor to run. Supplied with re-grindable knives, 100mm diameter dust extraction outlet, blade setting tool, 4 adjustable rubber feet, 2.0m power cable and UK 3 pin plug.
