The Record Sabre-300 12" Bandsaw is the latest cutting-edge machine introduced into the market-leading Record Power SABRE series of bandsaws. Designed and developed with the keen hobbyist woodworker in mind, the SABRE-300 embodies the next step in the evolution of our flagship bandsaw range, offering a high-quality and extremely versatile machine, at a size suitable for most workshops. With a multitude of innovative features, substantial power and capacity, the SABRE-300 is the ideal machine for handling a wide variety of tasks, ranging from intricate small-scale items to larger, heavier workpieces, making it the ultimate multi-purpose bandsaw. The advantageous rip fence micro-adjustment feature enables extremely accurate positioning, helping users to achieve the desired position quickly and easily. The premium-grade sliding block blade guides provide extensive blade support, which helps to minimise vibration and enhances both stability and control. The blade guides are made from premium O1 tool steel, which has been selected for its exceptional ability to dissipate heat far more efficiently than ceramic alternatives. Adjustment of the blade guides is completely tool-free and can be carried out quickly and easily, using the accurate adjustment and locking handles. The SABRE-300 takes harmful wood dust protection to the next level, with the combination of side and rear dust extraction ports. The rear dust port features a CamVac bayonet fitting, allowing direct connectivity with the Record Power range of CamVac high-filtration dust extractors. The side dust port seamlessly pairs with the Record Power 2.5" flexible hose, streamlining the dust extraction setup. A removable dust cap situated within the lower cabinet over the blade, further reduces airflow leakage, increasing extraction efficiency. -
With a cast iron table at the heart of this compact machine it is designed to offer those with limited space or budgets a real bandsaw with sensible capacity and performance, as an alternative to lightweight hobby machines. The BS250 should not be confused with the lightweight hobby machines available in the market at a similar price. It shares the same essential build qualities as its larger cousins – strong steel frames, dynamically balanced bandwheels, cast iron tables and an induction motor. It has been designed to offer the user with space restrictions a serious machine in compact form. The machine can be bench mounted or fitted to the optional stand and wheel kit, providing great flexibility in a tight space.

In addition, the capacities, power and performance upgrades, combined with the unique SABRE features now found on this machine, make it a real contender in the general purpose floor-standing bandsaw category when combined with the BS250-AW stand and wheel kit. In this configuration it has quality and features well ahead of many of the lower cost floor-standing machines available in the market. The BS300E is a great all rounder perfectly specified for the medium sized workshop where a range of duties will be required.Featuring a solid fence, vital for accurate ripping, which has a heavy extrusion mounted on a cast iron base and fixed to a solid steel bar for maximum rigidity and support. This is based on an industrial Startrite design and much more solid than other fences at this level. The machine also features a solid double trunnion fence mount to provide rigid table support and one-handed table tilt on a smooth rack and pinion. Adding to the structural integrity of the BS300E are the cast iron bandwheels which are fitted with precision ground rubber tyres to provide a flywheel effect for smooth cutting. A solid blade tension indicator is fitted to the rear of the machine to allow for easy setup. The BS300E is also supplied with a basic wheel kit as standard. -

An ideal workhorse for the busy workshop where power and generous capacity are required but budget and space do not allow a bigger machine. This features an open legstand, often requested by our users as it provides greater stability and can be used with an optional pedal style wheelkit. A basic wheelkit is provided as standard. The bandwheels are cast iron and dynamically balanced with precision ground, crowned rubber tyres usually only found on much more expensive industrial machines – the flywheel effect of the cast iron wheels improves cutting performance and speeds. Our tables are some of the largest in their category and a one piece cast double trunnion has been designed to provide even greater support and rigidity. The rip fence is the strongest and most industrial in its category with a chromed fence and the mount machined from a single piece of cast iron. The extrusion itself is a heavy section to provide rigidity and accuracy. -

This machine brings affordable solid performance and reliability within reach of the discerning woodworker. Like all bandsaws in the range, a solid cast iron table provides unrivalled stability and solidity. An industrial style cast trunnion supports the table and allows it to be tilted one-handed on a rack and pinion. Dynamically balanced cast iron bandwheels ensure superior strength and reduced vibration - a feature not usually found on other machines at this level. The 2hp motor and 305mm depth of cut mean this machine can cope easily with large timbers yet is also equally capable of fine, precise cuts and veneers. -

The two speeds, which are slightly faster than comparable machines, make it ideal for cutting non-ferrous metals as well as wood. One of the most distinctive advantages of the Laguna bandsaw range over all other brands is the famous ceramic blade guide system. They create 10 points of contact on the blade allowing easy set up and highly accurate cuts even when re-sawing deep timber. Using long life ceramic guides allows for a much larger blade contact area than traditional bearing guides. The result is more support for the blade and greater cutting accuracy. The braked motor provides enough power to operate at the full 13” cutting depth. There is a quick blade release tension lever that makes blade changing faster and this is complimented with an easy to view blade tension scale indicator to easily ensure correct tension set up. The micro polished cast iron table is mounted onto an oversized double cast iron trunnion with two locking points that ensure there is a solid surface to work from. The table tilts to 45 degrees with a positive Stop at 90°. A flip plate allows reverse tilt up to 7 degrees when required. In the centre of the table is an anodised aluminium throat plate with 4 adjusting screws to ensure a perfect flush fit. The parallel fence runs smoothly along a polished solid steel bar. The locking screw is fitted with a brass end to ensure a positive lock which will not let you down and creep during repeat work. The measuring scale is marked in both Inches and MM. The rigid aluminium high/low fence ensures full and precise timber support for both large and small work pieces. Solid cast iron wheels are electronically / dynamically balanced & fitted with polyurethane one-piece tyres designed to run cooler & last longer than conventional tyres. The worm gear & pinion on the blade guard is ultra-smooth and engineered to have minimum flex even when fully extended. Double windows allow you to check both tension & tracking while the machine is running. There is a premium anodized aluminium throat plate with fine adjustment for ultimate accuracy. Efficient dust extraction is achieved through a 100mm (4") diameter outlet located just underneath the table. A deflector sends the dust into the collection port before it comes into contact the lower wheel and other moving parts - extending their lifespan. Supplied with premium quality 13mm (1/2") x 4tpi Woodpecker blade, 1.8m cable with UK 3 pin plug.
