The step or shoulder of the tool gives an accurate position of the recess required for the base section of the mill. The small V notch on the right hand side allows the other groove to be produced in the top section when it is lined up with the outer face. The CrushGrind tool will give accurate and effortless results time and again.

Records' new pin jaws have been improved by squaring the external shoulder to allow workpieces to properly register against the back of the jaws. This is ideal for use in expansion, to grip tubes in work pieces such as pepper or salt grinders. These unique tools developed by the well respected North American woodturner, Dave Hout, are used for making finished cuts when producing bowls. The cut is shear and leaves the end grain smooth. With practice, sanding can be all but eliminated. The two tool set consists of one tool with a deeper flute to be used on bowls up to 5" -
6" in diameter. The shallower tool is for use on bowls 6" and larger in diameter. -

The Buffing Tree comprises of three 6 inch wheels, in the A, B and C cloth grades, firmly held on a central spindle. It’s ideal for buffing small items and, after loading the wheels with the compounds and wax, allows you to move from one wheel to the next in quick succession, dramatically reducing the time otherwise taken up by changing wheels. Ideal for polishing small items such as fruit, pens, boxes etc in batches. Requires one of our mandrels to fix to the chuck and a live centre for support at the tailstock. PLEASE NOTE: The Buffing Tree does not come as kit containing the mandrels and compounds etc; this is deliberate as if you already use the Buffing System you will have these and won’t want to buy them again.
