The Robert Sorby ProEdge takes all the guesswork and effort out of sharpening all your woodworking, woodturning tools. The ProEdge has an abrasive belt which is a quick and efficient method of putting a keen edge on each and every tool. The cool running belt avoids any overheating. The ProEdge comes complete with aluminium oxide and zirconium belts. The ProEdge requires no complex assembly - it can be plugged in and used straight from the box.
-
This robust material is designed to handle the demands of all steels. Not strictly ‘grit sizes’ these belts are built using brick and pyramid abrasive shaping. The highest 3000 ‘grit’ size will sharpen to two microns (the same sharpness as a disposable razor blade) and provide a factory finish on all steels.
