The Sandmaster is an essential part of every turner's tool kit. It comes with 5 different grits of abrasive to take even the roughest projects to a glass-like finish every time. It avoids an uneven finish often associated with hand sanding and there is no danger of catching hands on the revolving project. These unique tools developed by the well respected North American woodturner, Dave Hout, are used for making finished cuts when producing bowls. The cut is shear and leaves the end grain smooth. With practice, sanding can be all but eliminated. The two tool set consists of one tool with a deeper flute to be used on bowls up to 5" -6" in diameter. The shallower tool is for use on bowls 6" and larger in diameter. -
