Records' new pin jaws have been improved by squaring the external shoulder to allow workpieces to properly register against the back of the jaws. This is ideal for use in expansion, to grip tubes in work pieces such as pepper or salt grinders. We have also reduced the internal diameter to 9 mm, making it ideal for making finials or lace bobbins - Thereby increasing its versatility. To complement the new pin jaws, the mini spigot jaws have also been improved. This extremely flexible dual-purpose adaptor can be used either as a stepped power tool adaptor or to create a bespoke dust extraction port. If the dust producing machine has no extraction port, this adaptor can be attached using the four screw holes in the flange, allowing a suitable hose to be connected to it. The adaptor can also be used to connect directly to a 2.5" diameter extraction system and the stepped profile be adjusted to suit the port of the power tool. -

A good quality, dedicated drilling machine is an indispensable tool in any workshop. The DP25B brings this versatility, along with traditional Record Power build quality and reliability, within easy reach of the home woodworker and discerning DIY enthusiast. A wide variety of bits can be accepted and the five speeds allow for a great variety of materials to be drilled, including wood, metal, plastic and many others. The cast iron table can tilt up to 45º and will accept most drill press vices, allowing secure holding for increased accuracy and safety. When extra capacity is needed the table can be moved to the side of the machine so the base can be used as a working table, which also accepts drill press vices. For further strength and performance, the headstock also features cast iron, adding weight to reduce vibration, along with a cast iron handwheel. The DP25B features an easy to use locking collar depth stop. The DML305 cast iron lathe represents a new benchmark in high quality midi lathes and is perfect for the user with minimal space or as a second lathe for demonstrations and shows. The machine has 393 mm between centres as standard and an optional bed extension can be added to increase this capacity.
